Nora is a 10th grader who is very passionate and bubbly! They have loved playing Magica because it’s has been so fun for them to create a new character that is so complex. They love the show adventure time, Percy Jackson, pink, pasta, musicals and wants to one day win a Tony!

Shelby is 14 years old and is passionate about ice cream and Taylor Swift. Playing Rapunzel has been especially fun because she’s become so close with friends in the company. Shelby is obsessed with the color pink, loves shopping and really wants to go to Paris someday!

Jade is a Senior who does PSEO at St. Paul College. She has loved helping create Rapunzel because it has been so fun turning a classic fairytale into something modern and funny! Jade loves the color blue, cheesecake, singing, dancing, and acting!

Margaret is a Junior who wants to travel to Italy. She has loved working on Rapunzel and being a part of Spring because there are so many learning opportunities and the people are amazing! One day she would like to be a part of or even own and dance company!

Sadie lives with her mom and 6 cats and loves sunsets and Christmas lights. Her favorite role she has played was Violet in Iron-Hearted Violet because she was such a a complex role and who wouldn’t want to be a princess who befriends dragons and slays monsters? She has loved creating Rapunzel because she loves watching how everyone’s different personalities mesh to create these fun characters!

Delaina is 17 years-old and loves performing because it brings her so much happiness! She loves spending time with her pets and going outside. She has loved working on Rapunzel because she has met so many genuinely kind human beings.

Greta is a 12 year-old who would love to learn how to play the oboe! She loves the color teal, dancing, acrobatics, reading and sewing! One day Greta would love to become an author or a dance teacher!

Nellie is 10 years-old and loves life! She loves anything Disney, steak, watermelon, swimming, and playing with friends! Some fun facts about Nellie are that she’s bilingual and she was named after her great grandma!

Cal is in 3rd grade and one day wants to become a dance teacher! They love the colors light blue, purple, and pink and their favorite food is cheeseburgers! They love performing because it makes them feel strong and brave!

Amber Keeley is the owner and Artistic Director of Spring Dance and Theatre Academy and is so thrilled to bring our first production that merges the school and the Action Performance Company to life! Writing this story has been so much fun. It’s a new twist on an old tale that we are presenting as we create and explore all the things we really can do. Keep moving forward!

Making her company debut, Delaina Thill has taken on the role of performer, student director, choreographer and instructor on with verve! She’s a star performer and a role model that we are so proud to have at Spring.

Sayer Keeley is returning to stage manage Rapunzel after spending much of the Fall as assistant choreographer for Stages Theatre Company’s Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer the Musical. His energy, experience and professional expectations will help make the show both beautiful, a great learning experience for the kids and a blast backstage! He’s pretty epic.

Sadie is a wonderful playwright! She was able to take Amber’s storyline and rough dialogue and turn it into a work of art. Her delicate touch and real understanding of our company members and audience creates a vibe that is so Spring! What a queen!

Emma was our lead on all the songs in this show. She’s a great inspiration to our company and academy kids and we are so grateful to have her on our team. Emma brings energy and light to our every day!
